Re: 2015 Barambah Trad Bash
Awesome photos Mark!
We had a great weekend, many thanks to the Barambah club putting on such a fun and friendly shoot. Bit cold on a night though, next year I think I'll be bringing a few more layers or maybe a caravan...

G'day Mick, Sounds like you've solved your conundrum....choose a bow you're comfortable shooting all day, that you can still pick up and draw on the second day of the comp. The flat trajectory of a heavier bow won't be real flat if it hurts too much to pull, and besides, you'd be surprised how many ...

Just off the Pacific Highway midway between the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Challenging courses, great people, good food and cold beers. And of course the yearly trad shoot at Easter.

I reckon a regular local trad shoot has got to be a good thing....It does get really disheartening and frustrating at a regular shoot being stuck behind a few groups of compound shooters taking their time. I try and slow down by missing a lot and spending time looking for arrows, that seems to help ...

G'day Jase, A lot depends on whether you want a reflex-deflex or traditional flat flatbow, an off-the-shelf or a custom bow. For range of bows (imports and local) and good advice make the journey down to Wales Archery in Cardiff. They won't try to sell you something you don't want. Saggitarius are s...

Mububban, After reading Mark Stretton's series of articles on heavyweight longbow physics in The Glade, that DVD's got to be fantastic.. The team they've put together is a who's who of anyone involved in commonsense, practical investigations of the bow....... Where's my credit card, I feel the need ...

Many thanks to Leigh, Gavin, and all the other organisers for all the hard work and effort put into organising the shoot. We Queenslanders had a great weekend down in Geelong despite having to cope with 56 seasons in one day (I thought there were only meant to be 4?... :? ) It was great to put more ...

This one's for anyone heading over to the UK. Many clubs all over the country, beautiful places to shoot and see the landscape, and great people. Just remember wet weather gear and gloves
