after two years of trying ,and my third unsuccesfull payed hunt,i havent even seen any game on a bow hunt.
i can safely say i dont hunt with a bow,and probably never will

i balanced the stave where id hold it and marked at the top of my hand,
this is exactly 1/2 an inch above centre
can i put the shelf there?

shelf position

im trying to making a long bow
its 68" with an 8" handle
where do i need to put the leather shelf for the arrow,dead centre of the bow?

im going to a deer farm next weekend to get some leather for the handle and shelf bit,and other crafty stuff my wife wants to make
