Re: Leather selection for a quiver

They are beautiful Jeff, Iv sent them an email an asked for a price, if it's well priced I can buy a few different colours. I much preferred making my own rather than buying them!

Re: Leather selection for a quiver

Thanks jeff, is that the standard thickness of football leather, or would Bridle Leather be better do you think at 4-5mm, will enquire on price to see how much they are as they are not specified on the site.

Again thanks Jeff

How would you go about stiffening the leather so it holds its shape?

Forgot to add, I'd like a stiff leather as I would like the quiver to hold its shape.

Leather selection for a quiver

Hi guys and gals Looking for a good thick leather to make myself a back quiver from. And suggestions where I can purchase some good leather from here in Aus. I already have my design idea and know how to put it together, ( been practicing with paper to make the design. I just need leather now ) what...

Couldn't think of anything better than shooting your own gear. But sadly I don't have to time with work to make most things. Although I would like to make my own back quiver and arrows, I will leave the rest to the people that do it well :Bow :bow-yellow:

Personalised leather arm guards with knife! Who makes them

Hi, recently I saw A fellow archer with a personalised leather arm guard with a knife and sheath built in. My question is, who makes them here in Aus and how much are they. Any pictures of them would be great. I'd upload an example but have no idea how to ( I'm a little but useless with technology a...

Re: Anyone in the Riverland area of SA

I live in Renmark, only moved there recently and it's driving me insane that there is no where to shoot. I'd like to get a meet together to see what we can do in the area. If it would be possible to start a small club or just try to acquire land for a couple of targets to be set up to help us practi...

Anyone in the Riverland area of SA

Is there anyone in the Riverland area in this group. I'd like to organise a meeting with local archers to talk about starting a club, or at very least finding land to shoot on?

Re: Forward set/ reflex and performance...

I have not read every post but I thought I might put this here. Even if the bow and arrow was identical. It you move form one place of the globe to another the gravest and air pressure can differ dramatically. There are zones that have a heavier gravity/or air pressure to our own, and that could mak...

Para cord handle wrap

Anyone know any shops in the shunshine Coast area that sell para cord. I'd like to make a hand wrap with it. Always handy to have para cord while in the bush camping/hunting.

Re: TECHNIGLUE

Thanks Daryl I was thinking next to do as you said. Do the bow in two seperate glue ups. And the temperature was not helping at all ( 36C ) Also did you use a hot ow with the TECHNIGLUE? It says to cure at room temp so I just let it do that, although at my room temp it will be more like a semi hot b...

TECHNIGLUE

Used the TECHNIGLUE for the first time today making a glass lam bow. And within 30 minutes it had started to harden. I'm now a little worried that it won't glue the lams together as it took me 45 minutes in total to glue all the lams together and clamp them down with the rubber bands. Anyone els use...

Re: Peoples thoughts on Lars Andersen's shooting style?

I will say, that I'm not a fan of it at all. Maby im just a "Hater" but to me it seems all for show. Most of his shots are very close from 5-20 metres and I know I don't even need to look to shoot that far now, also his form is terrible and totally inconsistent. I just imagin it's going to...
