Re: Trad Bow Soft Case - 63" for long bow or recurve

Re: Bowstringers - not so knotty
Thanks for that Daryl. The thread is a good read. I'll give the tip to tip a go. A longbow is on my list for the near future, so will have to try them out our trad shooters bows next shoot.

Those I have seen that work well use a thin cord to apply force to the very tip of the bow, usually through a clever leather pouch arrangement. I may still have...

Bowstringers - not so knotty
Hi All, After untying the knots in my bow stringer for the hundredth time I decided to have a go at making an improved version less prone to knots - so here it is. Materials are heavy duty soft webbing on the limb pocket, with a brushed leather (to provide grip) on the limb side. Nylon 10mm dog lead...

Trad Bow Soft Case - 63" for long bow or recurve
Hi All, I've been working on developing a hard wearing protective soft case for both recurve and long bow for a couple of months now, and have finally got the first few ready for sale. A couple of prototypes have gone to members of my club (the old WRA Wyndham - now West Melbourne Field Archers) who...
