find Rob Nicoll at Flatline bows, for me he is probably the most gifted recurve bowyer in the country at the moment. his bows are beautiful and functional.

Re: MORE BAD NEWS
Very frustrating. i know it's not a trad hunter but at the end of the day the authorities won't discriminate they'll simply pile all archers into the same category and ban us. all in one area can't help but think same person or group of people involved. this combined with rampant poaching will be en...

Re: Do we have any fixed crawlers on the site???
string walking, ace walking, fixed crawl, split vision, "instinctive", gap etc are all just forms of aiming. each has its benefits and weaknesses. a fixed crawl is basically taking the good from string walking and the good from gap shooting and doing away with the negatives of each. a fixe...

thanks mate, **** happens some times.
no stress i'm sure it'll go at some point after christmas when people have time to breath and are wanting to put an offer in on it. otherwise it goes back on the bow wall with everything else.

Re: Some arrows I've bodged together
its a sad thing :( i have half a dozen war bow arrows he lovingly made for me shortly before he passed. i shoot them once a year at the Hunter Valley Gathering. i love those arrows, beautiful yet powerful. i just kind of figure he'd want them shot rather than sitting on the shelf and watching them f...

Hi clingfish, I think what they are trying to put across is that the rules are created by those motivated and committed to fight for what they believe is true. Your right they aren't perfect but the rules they shoot by are the rules they believe in. You can always get involved with TAA, your local c...

Re: Having a B**ch
i can jump in on this. i made almost exactly the same comments about a year ago (maybe less) i shoot range of different bows and i prefer carbon arrows. so i raised the idea of a simplified set of rules that were more inclusive i even went as far as to start a discussion about what members wanted in...

Cretan, They are shooters first and foremost, rob is just a nutcase and loves wood. I mean REALLY loves timber. Hand shock? Hell no. Performance is excellent especially for those with a longer draw length. But as mentioned before hard part is finding one for sale. Most people hold onto them. A littl...

Re: FLATLINE BOWS
Hi cetan, The flat lines are a work of art and shoot very very well. I've not experienced any issues with limb delamination but I know for a fact Rob would fix the problem without any hesitation. There are lots of great manufacturers in OX which is great for choice but. Dry few have the uncanny abil...
