ABA have confirmed to to be a Cross Participation Shoot It will be updated on their facebook page, we will also update our website, facebook page, and Branch Facebook page.

Hey all, we have always run it as a cross participation shoot. So as long as you are a current member of either ABA , AA, or 3DAAA you are eligible to shoot.
I will confirm this with ABA national tomorrow (Wednesday)

It did indeed, the shoot went well, a lot of smiling faces at the end of the day with some interesting shooting positions and a downhill speed round. Hi sue, yes you are correct its not a completely trad event however we do get a large trad contingent to shoot it and most years trad shooters win, Apologies for any confusion. In the end its a fun shoot that is run in the style of a trad shoot.

Hi Sue, Indeed this is correct, to be eligible to win the hunting dale shoot (which is only the sunday) you must shoot barebow, this includes compounds, recurves, longbows, traditional etc. basically any old bow as long as it doesn't have sights. People with sights are more than welcome to come and ...
