Re: Enjoying Art LaHa's Movie...
I met Art back in the early 80's. Quite a guy, sure left an impression. According to many old hunters, he was the best. A few years back his wife and daughter still ran the "Bear's Den" in Winchester WI.

I'll take one! Good pic's. I can also vouch for the ladies getting aggresive when I'm wearing my old TRASH shirt and Acubra. It's just crazy when you consider I'm just your average swaggerman.

Re: Youtube ,, the Worst thing For Hunting
He could have been paid by animal rights groups to slander bowhunters. Just a thought. Over here there have been several publicity stunts staged to raise $$$$. I'd watch your animal rights people and government officials to see if they start howling about this in the coming months. Then the video wa...

Re: The GOLDEN Child
Incredible. I hope you blokes know how good you have it. Around here, all the lakes are built up with houseing. Every lake of 10 acres+ has a public access. Many lakes have different fishing reg's due to fishing pressure and pollution. Some areas the fish are contaminated and they warn you to limit ...

Thanks for all the answers and input mates. I can see right now I'll probably won't be leaving OZ if I ever come to visit. Between forgetting the left side rule and killing every snake I see, I'll probably get a life sentence.

Thanks nimrod, I'm a big fan of Wally Tabor. When I was in 2nd grade my dad took me to see one of his programs at a local high school. Made a big impact on me. I also met and got to know Art Laha. Probably one of the best bushmen in North America, though relatively unknown. All this back when the wo...

A 30 carbine fits over a 5/16" shaft. I use a small tubing cutter to cut the shoulder off a .223 and it fits a 5/16 also. Cut a 30-30 off and it fits an 11/32" perfectly. The length of the cut off case can vary for different weights. I use to have the weights around here somewhere for the ...

I'm dating myself, but anyone watch the Robin Hood series staring Richard Green as a kid? Every now and then a DVD with a collection of episodes will show up in a store around here. I can guarantee you I'm all over it like a fly on roadkill.

Re: My mate Matt and his longbow donkey...
Every time I think I've seen it all, you guys come up with something even more off the wall. I don't know much about donkey's but he seems to be a nice one, nice coat and all. Howard Hill claimed wild burro was good eating. I'd definitely give the donkey loins a go on the grill. Or is it like goat a...
