Re: Having a B**ch
Grahame. Bravo. You have in one condescending post managed to highlight why people like myself have no time for clubs and people like yourself. You may have a post count of 4500+ and be deeply involved in your club. Good for you. Seems archers are even more snobbish and divided than rifle clubs. Goo...

Re: FLATLINE Great Storm
I don't have that kind of cash. But I would give you one of my kidneys if they weren't so worn out. That is a sensational bow. I'd be stoked to just see it in the flesh let alone own it.

Re: Having a B**ch
I have to say I agree with the OP on this one. Wood arrows only is a little laughable when you consider modern laminated bows. I get the intent but to not count scores is absurd. An open class is simple to implement and would encourage more people to participate. Isn't that what we want after all?

Re: 2014 Bowhunting Goals
To take a decent goat and maybe a pig or two. The only things I've ever shot with a bow before is a hare and a fox both over ten years ago and with a wheelie bow. I'm looking forward to just getting out in the bush though. It's been way too long.

Gday Afro.
I used to live in "The Dale" a few years back. Lovely spot up on the range. I've done a lot of rifle hunting around those parts too. I look forward to seeing your hunting pictures and your flat bow.

Re: Small Game Heads
Being a fitter is very handy. It also means I like to see the simplest solution used if it's viable. As I use carbon shafts the washer idea is sheer brilliance. I am seriously considering switching to wood though and I might crank up the lathe and punch out a few dozen bunny busters. I might use sta...

Re: Hunting NT style
Yeah I sold off all my archery equipment before I moved up there. Stupid move. Means I have to buy it all again! But this time I've gone traditional, just to make it harder LOL. I look forward to the challenge!

Hi I'm Steve, hence the screen name  I first got into archery as a 13 yr old and shot an old Ben Pearson compound barebow and instinctive for a few years. I "upgraded" and got a new bow and added a sight and used that for a few years. That was until I got my firearms licence and I ga...
