Re: Is this still instinctive or is it gap shooting?

I also gap shoot beyond 25 metres. I don't own acreage, so the only time I get to shoot longer distances is when I'm at the local field archery club. I was never going to be able to get up my '10,000hrs' at longer distances, so I went down the gap path and never looked back. I should mention that hu...

Re: Being Competitive with instinctive shooting method?

I struggle with 3 under , and any conscious aiming method ... Would love to be able to master it but fear I'll remain "instinctive" ..... And that's no bad thing .... I don't consider 3 under to be a form of conscious aiming. Plenty of folk shoot instinctively 3 under. I'm one of them. Th...

Re: LIMBS FOR SAMICK SAGE

I'd be surprised if any aussie archery store actually kept a selection of Samick Sage limbs in stock. I'm sure any Samick reseller would order them in for you though. Try Abbey Archery maybe, I know they sell Samick stuff. 3 Rivers Archery in the US sell the limbs on their website. I bought a set fr...

Re: LONG BOW POUNDAGE

Hunting you will most likely only shoot 3 or more so arrows in the day. So tiredness shouldn't be a problem. Competition or shooting say 100 arrows a day will take its toll on your body. I'll second that ! If you also want to use this bow for competitions, you be best to compromise on the weight. I...

Re: RED WING HUNTER 56#@28" - GC

No Dennis, I can't notice any let off on this one. Not to worry, its a sweet shooter and an excellent addition to my pathetic-compared-to-yours bow arsenal. So far I have only used it for target shooting at my property. It gets it's first proper outing this weekend at Lithgow Valley Archers field co...

Wow, I've never seen a Tiger that size. Magnificent, but only to be admired from afar... by me anyway
