Re: Creeping Quiver

Cut some bands from a bicycle tube. Double them up and and roll them on the limb. This will act as a stopper and stop the sliding up.
It's what I use to stop my Marksman from sliding

45# medium tradtech ILF limbs

Hi team,
I have a pair of 45# medium glass/wood tradtech ILF limbs available. They are 18 months old, used but in good/great condition. I have onestringer snakeskin sticker on the back. This will peel of no probs.
Am going to trial some ILF longbow limbs, so these have to go.

String material

Hi crew,
Going to have a crack at a red oak board bow and am wondering what string material will be best for it?
Ideally I would like to only buy FF (BCY 450?) string as I can then also use it on my recurves.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Re: Do we have any fixed crawlers on the site???

I shoot three under & I use a 20m fixed crawl. I'm not a target shooter though. My crawl is about 1/2-3/4 of an inch below my arrow (I haven't measured). I have my arrows tuned nicely for that, and it takes a fair bit of guess work out it. I then gap for closer or further away. About 4-5 inches ...

Re: The disparity between some US trad sites and Ozbow.

I really enjoy Tradtalk, and have learnt more on it than any other site. And like you said, there is no right or wrong on there, just people interested in what works etc. Whilst I'm not trad enough for some, I enjoy shooting my ILF rig with carbon arrows of an elevated rest, three under, using a 20m...

I bought the limbs off John, and he was a pleasure to deal with. Super fast postage too :)

Re: Latest Trophies - Heavy Pictures

Some serious Billy's!! Great job on the kills and the photography also :)

Will you get another devastator or something else?
I reckon the old girl (riser) would look good mounted with a cracking set of horns above her
