Re: Where to get Bamboo?
Nice one Rich 8) . The 3 mm vertical boo wall panels would reduce the tooling and time in making a laminated bow for sure. The carbonised finish is very dark (looks nice), I wonder if it effects epoxy bond strength. Have you given it a "stress" test? Thanks for the link. Cheers......... R...

Re: TBGA ???
I can't understand why LULzSec would hack TBGA? They usually go after Govt agencies, or Corporations that they have decided are behaving in an unethical manner. Perhaps the server that hosts TBGA displeased them somehow. Either way, still a mighty irresponsible and nasty thing to do. I dont think i...

Re: TBGA ???
It's interesting to note that this attack was extremely destructive.
Most datathieves strike and dissapear without doing much damage. Why would they bother? They got what they wanted.
If I was investigating this, I would start with a list of disgruntled employee's and clients.

Hi Mate,
Personally I use a flemish on both my longbows and recurve.
Cheers,

M. Hogan's link points to a flemish string jig. BMB-Mal's link is very likely what you are after though. The Hillside-KID wrote:its one continues loop of string

Go and buy a couple of meters of Theraband from a physio, double it up and you'll get 60# triple it for 90#. That will build you up quick (works for the Koreans). +1 Get the Grey Theraband, it's the heaviest. The plus is that you can carry it in your workbag/briefcase. I use mine at work ...

Hi Mate,
IIRC it's about 36 hours to cure at 20 degrees for techniglue. An idea that I cannot take credit for is to bung it in your car during a sunny day, that would speed up your curing.
Cheers,
Richard.

Re: Point weight effect on arrow spine
I suspect you'll be pretty happy with the results, but there may be some tweaking you want to do. To be on the safe side, try getting a test shaft in spines above and below the one you work-out. Thank you Ben! I'll give that a shot. I was going to get a range of spines to test I just needed that st...

Hi Bill, It's not surgery, but I came off mt bicycle a few years back and badly mauled my shoulder and elbow on my bow arm. One of the things I had to suffer was the pinching pain. It took about 3 months for me to get back to drawing a bow properly but I made sure I got my physio's go ahead first. P...

Re: Bow tiller
IIRC you have about even tiller for 3 under and about 1/8" - 3/8" for split. I'll see if I can find where I read that. I think that's for longbow, I'm not too sure if it applies to recurve.
I've only just been introduced to three under and I'm finding it suits me.

For city dwellers who don't know any body out bush its the softer easier practical way to get out there . Very true. When you first start out and don't know anyone with a property it can be hard.
