Re: Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin

I would say yes, it is used a lot in the stabilising of timbers for knife handles and achieves great results, another one to look for is Norglass, also have been told a method by a guy who stabilizes his timbers using perspex believe it or not.

Re: Old Billy Bow's

Cheers Wayno, I am still around, have plenty of bows on the go at the moment and always heaps of knives to keep me busy, along with some research on new designs for both areas. Just don't get the time to get around to the forums as much as I would like to.

Re: Renaissance style English Longbow. Hickory backed Yew.

I see a lot of posts on here without a point to them, even from mods, just making a bit of a point I guess, Funny thing is I don't remember accusing anyone of saying it wasn't traditional, just pointed out it fits the forum to a tee, and pointed out what the forum refers to in it's title, No one has...

Re: Renaissance style English Longbow. Hickory backed Yew.

It's traditional in style and if you use it to hunt it fits right into this forum, as it says "Australia's Traditional Bowhunting Forum" not Australia's Medievil/ Traditional Archery re-enactment forum,

Re: cheap doesn't have to be nasty!

What makes ...
