Re: Wanted: Bear Super Kodiak.

Saw one on eBay today. Think it was pickup only but there's ways around that.

Re: Wisemans Ferry TRADITIONAL ARCHERY GET-TOGETHER MARCH 20

Is that entry fee to enter in competition, or just entry to the area?
I won't be shooting but might find the time to come and have a bit of a gander on the Saturday.

Brilliant, thanks for all the input guys.
Got a bit more research and deciding to do, but it's looking like the Sage unless I can gather some extra funds for a Stag or a longbow like the ca60.

Daryl,
I had thought it to be a bit hopeful of me, thanks for the info. I'll give it a bit of time, but not hold out too long.
Cheers,
Pat

BOUGHT (WTB: <$200 bow, ~40-50#, RH)

Hi, Looking to buy a right handed longbow/flatbow/recurve in the 40-50lb range for less than $200. Used but well looked after is fine. Australian made would be great. I've been shooting my second self-made bow for a while now, and it's starting to get some cracks. It's about 35lb flatbow, which i ca...

Re: First Bow - Ironbark (Merbau?)Flatbow backed with Jute

Just back to say thanks to you all again for the advice and info, I've taken it all on board and my next two bows are progressing well. I am almost certain you guys are correct, and this bow is in fact Merbau. After 500+ shots there is now a crack in one of the arms, so this bow is most definately r...

Re: someone plz help me im a noob

Hi, I've only made a couple of bows, so will mostly point you to the information provided by more experienced members. A few of threads: This one has a Longbow template in the last post: http://www.ozbow.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=13396 This has a Flatbow template in another one of Yeomans ...

Re: First Bow - Ironbark Flatbow backed with Jute

Thanks Daryl. Did not realise flatbows could be tillered like that, cool. Those dimensions are different to what I'm working off at the moment, so might give it a go for the other half of the board. See if I can get one of them more elliptical, one just bending right to the fades. Guess I might save...

Re: First Bow - Ironbark Flatbow backed with Jute

Thanks bob and rob for your comments (some good info in that link too rob thanks, ill keep it in mind, though probably not apply it to this bow which is now ornamental). Dave - Legend. Thanks for the constructive feedback, i really needed that info. I was fairly sure it wasnt bending early enough, b...
