Re: Who bare shaft tunes their arrows?

Don't get me wrong, I have tried it off and on for over 30 years, but the end result was no different, as I was still just as accurate, with clean arrow flight, and I was within ball-park of the charts, and using fletches is real world conditions. But if it works for you, go for it. It is good for ...

Re: Who bare shaft tunes their arrows?

Hey Mick, how's things? Mate, I've always been a "Whack some feathers on and she'll be right" type of shooter. Granted always used spined arrows near enough to what I thought I needed. Now I got a couple of new strings, and bought a new batch of the dreaded carbons, and proceeded to bare ...

Re: Who bare shaft tunes their arrows?

I don't see any reason NOT to bare shaft tune my arrows. I always get repeatable, consistent results from doing it. IMO using some kind of formula (no matter how good it may be) is nothing more than an educated guess. Why do this when bare shafting can give definitive results? Formulas and s...

If you wouldn't say it in person, don't post it online. That's what I go by. Saying that - taking offence at something is a choice each and every one of us has the OPTION to make. No-one can force you to be offended. We all dictate how/what we are "offended" by. If someone is talking crap,...

Re: When Fox whistling.

Living in the bush myself I can tell you that most property owners have the same attitude to dogs. If it's on your propertty shoot it - collar or no collar - end of story. This is a position I generally support as I would shoot any dog on our place given the chance. (Unless it's a 7kg Pomeranian or ...

Hey Muz I'm going to order one of them now - I had never heard of them until you posted. They seem like an excellent bit of gear and bloody good value compared to some of the bigger hammock brands.

Will definitely get the reflector pad - but can't see the point of the snake skin to be honest?
