Mick Glad to see you didn't play the hero.
I was in the Metro fire brigade for 12 years and have seen too many people burn them selves or get run over by passing motorist whilst dancing around their burning car.
At least your alive to choose your new 4B and laugh about it later.
Good luck mate

Though not young, they were both in very good health, largely due to the wife's insistence on healthy foods and exercise for the last de...

I buy from ebay most of my toys, Cd's, collectors books, some archery gear, tools, etc. A lot of it from out of the States (USA). But the largest has been a Ducati motor bike and a Ford Falcon tray back Ute 2004 model, Plus a couple of other motor vehicles. In all the years that I have been trading ...

Hey Daryl, Did you say Steamer Or Did you mean STILL  (bits and pieces using a heat resistant container with a tight fitting lid, some galvanised down pipe and an element from an old electric kettle. A hole in the lid with bung allows you to top up the water level when needed. The down pipe s...

G'day Oliver, I use a bow quiver to hunt. The reason is that I don't have a decent back quiver and they are very hard to obtain. There are a few commercial brands on the market but in my opinion there too small. I like a wide throat type that sits flat against my back (stop arrows rattling) with dec...

Bow Repair/Finish
Hi Guy's I have a recurve that is backed with a snake skin. I think it was added after the bow was made. The question is the top limb where the limb bolt is, the skin has lifted on the corner, maybe overtightening of the bolt. Also it has a small rub further up the limb and has exposed the scale of ...

Two men were sitting next to each other at a bar. After a while, one guy looks at the other and says, "I can't help but think, from listening to you, that you're from Ireland" The other guy responds proudly, "Yes, that I am!" The first guy says, "So am I! And where about fro...
