It's for my wife, it's time for her to upgrade from her 25# Howatt to something a little heavier.

Having said that, you've done a great job at copying Widow and Habu with the timber riser! Still not my cup of tea, but looks 100% better than the wharf bow.

This is really not a complicated issue. Here is a direct cut and past from a similar thread quite some time ago. I set my carbons up this way and they come out around 570 - 600 depending on the head I use. Most trad bows recommend a minimum of 8 grains per pound of bow weight, so this is plenty of w...

P.s, don't use bike tube, it smells bad and the stink stays on your hands, hard to wash off.

I use one on my Huntsman and really like it; I had to get it from 3 Rivers at the time, but I believe that there is now a 3 Rivers dealer that is active here on Ozbow, buggered if I can remember who it is tho, I may be mistaken. Anyhow, one of the more active members might be able to help you out.
