Re: Ultralight, Hunting & Bushcraft - Compromises
Have a look into hammocks. I have a Hennessy Explorer Ultralight and absolutely love it. It only weighs about a kilo and packs down to nothing. Re: Broadhead Weight to use
The Easton Powerflight carbons are a pretty light shaft, I was using 400 spine with 175gr points for my 45lb recurve and got about 18% FOC while keeping the GPP just below 10.

I seem to recall 45lb being a legal minimum in NSW when I got my R-License but I can't find it anywhere on their website now. There was also a mandated minimum length of cutting edge on broadheads...

Secrets of the Castle
Hey folks I've just started watching a pommie series "Secrets of the Castle". It's chiefly about the Guédelon Castle project ( http://www.guedelon.fr/en/ ), but episode 2 had quite a bit on medieval crossbow making with a demonstration. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/4gu46zGuOqk The b...

WTB Side Quiver
Hi folks
I'm looking for a side quiver, the kind that looks like a back quiver but the arrow is drawn out the side like a Safari Tuff duiker/arrowmaster..
Let me know what you've got!

Looking for something good for a 30" draw, 45-55@28, under $500. Doesn't have to be pretty, just a nice shooter.
