New Pheonix Tatt

This is the one I had done about 4 weeks ago...chinese pheonix to complement the imperial dragon on the opposite shoulder.

The pic of the tatt is less than 5 mins after it was done..in one sitting.

Happy shooting :)

Re: I like Chinese (Bows) - Part II

G'day Daryl ...With the two bows that you mentioned how similar are they in profile when unbraced and braced? Are the core construction/materials identical in both bows? I've attached pics from the Grozer website of the mongolian and the hunnish braced and unbraced. Hope this helps. HunnishBraced.gi...

Re: I like Chinese (Bows) - Part II

G'day Grahame Nice looking bow! I noticed that there was some limb and string vibration after the bow was shot. How does the bow feel when being shot? I know with my Grozer mongolian, that it feels like my hand is being kicked when the string hits the string stops. Also I noticed that with my Grozer...

Re: Knife Laws in Perth?

G'day Carl Check out http://www.slp.wa.gov.au and search for Weapons Act 1999 and Weapons Regulation 1999. Its talks about prohibited and controlled weapons. The regulations give a list of controlled and prohibited weapons and folding pocket knives are not included in the list. Essentially the Act (...

Part of my overall body conditioning routine at Gym

We have a weight machine at the gym I go to that I can use to train the muscles for archery. Also a lot of other pyramid weights (either 15 12 10 or 12 10 8 repetitions depending on the weight), typically supersets. One weight routine to the next without a rest. In terms of upper body conditioning a...

I just would like to again thank everyone for their condolences and sympathies. My late father was committed to the cremator's flames today in a simple and private ceremony, as was his wish. G'day All First of all I would like to congratulate Perry and Greybeard on their sterling efforts to codify the trad archery area and taking the time to come up with these rules. G'day all Interesting stuff. I've got a couple of questions...why is string walking not permitted. To me its just another way of shooting a traditional bow without attached sights. To my mind its no less valid than gap shooting, point of aim, split vision or any other way you shoot a "trad bow&...
