what finish
I use a single pack polyurathane full gloss clear finish on my arrows it dries without brush marks. I like to leave them for a couple of weeks before useing them. I,ve been fletching arrows with the tape its just as quick as loktite ,doesnt stick your fingers together and 12 months on their still go...

I`ve used techniglue on boo backed bows, it is fine, the wood will fail before the glue lets go . humidity is a big factor though, bamboo is like a sponge .persistance pays off keep at it GAZ.

hey mate, another thing to check is the brace height of your bow if it is too low your arrow flight can be poor.what weight points have you on your shafts? try heavier ones on a couple of shafts to compare with the others. allso try nocking an arrow above the nock this may seem too high but some bow...

Giday mate, generally recurves/ longbows should shoot arrows that are about 10 grains per pound of draw weight. I found the arrows onthe heavier side tend to be more accurate . Shooting arrows too light can have the same effect as dry firing you bow in the long term.

hi matt , I have no trouble fitting my longbow and gear on , resently rode from brissy to the long flat shoot 700 ks , towing trailer behind with all we need for a week away from home.I havent gone on a hunt on it yet, but have thought about it.
