Friends of mine where I get a bit of my archery gear from over here in NZ did a fair bit of the coaching for the movie. They were very happy how Anna P took to the bow.
Funny thing is their shop is called Advanced Archery and deal mostly with compounds
Cheers

Customs and Tax
Hi The first CM I bought (via ArcheryByMail) I had sent airmail and was about 2in too long so ended up being sent Priority and costing me around US$90 - arrived in about 3 days though :). Then customs got in on the act and stung me - then the govt added GST on top of everything - nothing like tax on...

Howdy I've got 2 Crusader Longbows and have ordered another. They are very nice to shoot. A number of my mates have them and have absolutely no complaints. My 45# spits out a 5/16 very nicely... the 70#er with 1 11/32 even better :) One of our ladies shoots an Atilla and loves it. I've shot with her...

Easy Thumbnails
I use a FREE utility called Easy Thumbnails. Check out www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/ - after installing this puppy its matter of specifying the settings (dimension, % quality, file suffix) and then you're away. It enables right click - so you can right click on a pic and select easythumbs and presto you'...

3 Rivers and Postage
Howdy Man you've got me riled up again. Up until 4 months ago I've had have nothing but good things to say about 3 Rivers. However, I placed an order for approx US$150. At the time, their website stated that they use the express shipping for orders over US$200 so I thought sweet - I was in no rush. ...

Hiya Great to see that there's a fair bit of interest already! I'm heading out for a hunt towards the end of August with the compound and then it will be time to dust of the longbow. I've ordered a Chekmate which I'm hoping will arrive in time for me to get a bit of practice in before the event. Loo...

Butch I've done a similar thing - getting a couple of hunting knives made up for my kids (currently 2.5yrs and 1yr). Getting their names and bdays engraved on them. Should be quite a nice little keepsake/tool for them when they're older. My wife (and everyone else) thinks I'm a little mad - so it's ...

Thank you!
A big thanks to all those involved in the Gladstone shoot. This Kiwi had a fantastic time and has already started dropping a few hints so that he can be let out again next year (now that the wife has stopped looking over my shoulder - I hope it can be for a little longer to get in a spot of fishing ...

Howdy All I was at the 2004 Rendezvous and it was one of the best shoots I've been to (and this is coming from someone who predominantly shoots a compound). The O'Hara estate is a spectacular setting. Kelvin and his team at only a few weeks notice really came through with the goods. So I've got huge...
