Welcome, and congrats on your 1st bow. Wherebouts in Tasie you're from. I lived for 10 years over there, 2 in Launceston, 8 in Penguin. Nice place, but no bowhunting, and the weather in winter is crap.

Re: Definately the last in the Rack
Very nice Tony, and the Pierce Points look good too. But that's a big call ("definitely the last in the rack") I was also surprised, at how light it is. I normally prefer more mass in the riser, but it feels and shoots great. I stuck an elevated rest on mine, and easy to tune, and s...

Re: New trad site a good add on
Tony, got an email with some pics from Brandon today, all done and ready to ship. It looks awesome, very happy with it. Now just have to wait till it gets here. 12 months now? it was 9 on his site when I ordered it. In actual fact, he said 31st Oct, which was a bit over 8 months, so he is pretty wel...

Re: New trad site a good add on
Tony, got an e-mail from Brandon middle of last week, he was putting the finish on it, and should be ready this week. Will get some pics of him when it's done. Brandon is organizing the shipping. Have bought more than a doz bows overseas, and allways let them organize the shipping, and never had a p...

Very nice Clinton, and great speed out of those BB2's, with your DL. I also shoot 10+gpp at my DL, but it is 29.75", I'll put the HEX6W's through the chrono, and see what I get.

Re: Smoothness.
Daryl, my HEX6's are pretty quiet with just 2 wool puffs (12gr each) and 10gr pp GT's, with my AD Hammerheads about 12gr pp they are really quiet. Tried them out with some arrows a bit over 8gr pp, they were smoking fast but laud. But then all my bows are with light arrows. And some target guys shoo...

Thinning the stable?
A while ago I posted about my McCoulough 59er, how I couldn't come to grips with it. Like it was suggested I put it away for a while, and then shot it quite well. The last couple of months, I've been mainly shooting my LB's, and also thinking of thinning the stable a bit. The 59er was one of the can...

Mainly RC's here, but a few months ago I got a 1pc Schafer S-Tip long bow, and really liked it. Well a little while ago a Jack B. Harrison Siberian Wolf came up, so I thought why not? And I'm impressed. It's a bit heavier than I normally shoot, but does not feel it at all. Straight of the bat I was ...

9 months wait for one of Brandon's bows, and it's nearly up. I didn't get the pierce points on mine, (not my cuppa-). I can't post pics, but when it turns up, I'll take some and can email .

Re: 68" bow USA to australia for $55us shipping
Got a bow from US, a couple of weeks ago. The shipping within US was included in the price, and would have been $50 in US. The TD bow came in a SOLID Oak case, 1m long but weight 23#. not a typo, 23#. The seller went half with me in the extra shipping, and my cost was a bit over $40 US. That was USP...

Re: Few bows for sale
4 weeks for a cheque, that's a bit rich. I just bought another bow from US, it was posted on the 31st, and got it today. I hope that as you say, he has just gone on his trip, but he still should have sent the cheque, or at least got in touch with you. Good luck with it, and also with the sale of the...
