Update on the roo shooting. The animal was tranquilized and caught yesterday. After examination it was decided to euthanize it. There is confirmation of a crossbow bolt. Fortunately bowhunters were not targeted in the article that appeared on the front page of today's paper. Thanks for your response...

Yep, me too. Nock split, the string cut the carbon arrow down the centre to about 10 inches past the fletches. Bits of carbon showered everywhere and just stood there in a daze. Bows still good though.

Hey Guys, I believe that though my family were the number one suspects, due to location, the gear inspection that was carried out will definitely clear me and my son and I do not believe that we are still suspect with the police. However having said that because we practice openly, local residents m...

Front page Gladstone Observer Sat 18/06/05

These are photos of the roo that was front page headlines in today's Gladstone Observer paper. It is one of several that live in the Benaraby area just south of Gladstone and often beds down in an area in the paddock beside my property. The vacant paddock is right behind my target butt. Therefore my...

Mid 1996 i suffered a ruptured rotator cuff right shoulder and torn deltoid. This resulted in 5-6 months off work in a sling, major surgery and discharge from the RAAF medically unfit for service. A similar situation that you find yourself in. I took up archery because it is one of the few things I ...

Me and my boy Big Kev (Cub) would like to be there. But like Nocky are a bit short of details. There is a flier down here somewhere but if you could post that would be appreciated.

Longbow Recurve Muster

I shot with Luke the Lumberjack on day two of this event and agree wholeheartedly that the senior Gladstone members did a great job.

Thanks for a great shoot Luke and, as you can see, I registered by the time you got home.
