Thanks for the well wishes fellas.

It certainly was a long time coming. I have enjoyed many great days in the bush over the years so it has never really bothered me not getting much game on the ground. But it's nice to have a win sometimes.

You are right Jindy.... he has been getting his protein in the bush <mostly> and everything else; beer, internet porn, new boots and clothes, camping gear, rifles and ammo and most importantly CARBOHYDRATES from all the huts there are around here for years. I'm of the "whatever floats your boat" school of thought. If you want to build a comfortable hide and sit 10 yards from a salt lick or a dam and look at birds while you wait for a goat... good on you. I plan to do it when I get too old to amble around.

Mick I've had deer, rabbits and pigs jump the string, there is a reason why we try and make a bow as quiet as possible by using string silencers.
