Gday jhoneil,

Thanks for that link. Like MaylandL, I've tried shooting with my thumb without little success (mind you I don't have a thumbring and 87lbs hurts my thumb :( ).

That link has inspired me to try again :)

re camo...yep... property owners look at you like a wanker. Also, I reckon about 90% of the time, the camo is to make the human feel like thy're hiding - I reckon, smell, movement, and sound is more important. Anyhow... yep... very happy with the pack :D Hey Stace... are you and ET coming up? I'll o...

Hey Mick, Yep, finding the right pack has turned into an obsession for me. but now I'm finally happy. I ordered the Guidespotter Pack combination with the extra GPS and side pouch, but I'd like to add the summit pack to it later. That's what I'm so impressed with their system for, you can easily add...

Ben My "sense of enduring hope" takes up all the room in my packpack. Thanks for the input. Mick Hehehe... yes. Problem is it's really hard to pack at the beginning of a trip because it takes up SO much room, and sometimes at the end of a unsuccessfull hunt you're left wonder...

Yep, I agree with everything Jindy said. Also, it looks modified to my eye (trust me I've had to modify the odd pic here and there in my line of work). But the biggest giveaway is If that guy had really shot that pig, he'd have a HUGE bottle of bourbon in his hands to settle the nerves

Lightweight Hennessy Hammock

Well, I've decided I'm not a 'hammock' sleeper, and have returned to my on the ground bivvy bag, so my Hennessy Ultralight Backpacker Hammock is up for sale.

Hennessy Hammock

It is very comfortable, and very small and light... I'm just not a hammock sleeper (unless there are crocs around )

Cat Quivers

Ok, I'm completely sick of trying to find a pack that will hold a full overnight set of gear plus work with my backquiver, so I'm considering biting the bullet and trying something like the Rancho Safari Cat Quiver VII I'm not super keen on the camo crap or the plastic hood... but until I get that s...

Hey thanks Mick... I know it's not exact ( it would really be an exponential increase ) but that's all I was looking for. And yeah, I knew about the bow stuff. The reason I asked is because my previous magyar bow was 70#@28" and had made up a whole batch of self knocked arrows at 28" that ...

Hey mate, I sent you a PM with my details. That'd be great to hook up. I had heard there was a archery club in the area, but assumed it was all wheelies.

BTW, do you hunt with your bow?
