Gday jhoneil,
Thanks for that link. Like MaylandL, I've tried shooting with my thumb without little success (mind you I don't have a thumbring and 87lbs hurts my thumb ).
That link has inspired me to try again

re camo...yep... property owners look at you like a wanker. Also, I reckon about 90% of the time, the camo is to make the human feel like thy're hiding - I reckon, smell, movement, and sound is more important. Anyhow... yep... very happy with the pack :D Hey Stace... are you and ET coming up? I'll o...

Hey Mick, Yep, finding the right pack has turned into an obsession for me. but now I'm finally happy. I ordered the Guidespotter Pack combination with the extra GPS and side pouch, but I'd like to add the summit pack to it later. That's what I'm so impressed with their system for, you can easily add...

Lightweight Hennessy Hammock
Well, I've decided I'm not a 'hammock' sleeper, and have returned to my on the ground bivvy bag, so my Hennessy Ultralight Backpacker Hammock is up for sale.
Hennessy Hammock
It is very comfortable, and very small and light... I'm just not a hammock sleeper (unless there are crocs around )

ahhhhhhhHHHH!... bloody quivers... Legolas didn't have any of these problems in the LOTR movies! His arrows just seemed to magically appear, and his pack was pretty amazing... he carried so much stuff in that little Elvish hip pack! Thanks Jeff for that info... I suppose I could get around th...

Cat Quivers
Ok, I'm completely sick of trying to find a pack that will hold a full overnight set of gear plus work with my backquiver, so I'm considering biting the bullet and trying something like the Rancho Safari Cat Quiver VII I'm not super keen on the camo crap or the plastic hood... but until I get that s...

I think it's broken?! (there isn't a animated emoticon face available for 'knackered') They posted the new bow this week, so should arrive in 4 weeks. I'm gonn...
