I also know this thread is old, but it is an incredible story with a great outcome (at least for one hunter!). Absolutely top work and thanks for sharing the tale! Epic.

Re: The "Nephew" tale. Full story and pics!

Great write-up! Sounds like a fantastic trip. Don't worry about the big brown snake skin- it actually belongs to a carpet python. You can tell by counting the scales, and also the faint markings residual on the shed skin. Excellent photography too!

Re: blunt or broadhead?

Broadheads will rip a bunny to pieces. That's fine if you don't want to eat it. Bunnies make great eating, so I prefer to hit them with a blunt. I use Outback SGB's and they do a great job!

Excellent stuff! Looks like a good shot, and fun times. Hope you get to remove a few more from our beautiful landscape that these goats love to destroy.

Excellent hunting! Wish I lived somewhere near a mob of goats - they do make for great eating (and hunting). Thanks for sharing the story Macca :)

Top story and some good hunting!

Your frogs are Lesueur's tree frogs, Litoria lesueuri. They can be a range of colours and I agree the yellow ones are particularly nice!

Top stuff! I went looking for pigs on the weekend and found heaps of sign but no critters. You've gotten a veritable feast (fox excepted  )!!

Yabbies and pork - can't go wrong with that! Great story and pics.

Nice work. The lad would have been stoked with his piglet - and yes, one less big one to do feral damage.

I'm "quivering" with anticipation to see the final result! Each time I shoot my Flatline I am amazed at the beauty of the action it has; the looks are purely an accessory compared to the function, which really says a lot. What a rare thing to find, these Flatline bows. This build-along is ...

I'll second a little Corolla. We have a 1993 Subaru Impreza that keeps going and going and going, but parts are expensive I hear. She has 300,000km on the clock and doesn't seem to notice, but the fuel economy could be better.

Re: Flatlining some stumps instead of beasts...

It doesn't stack would possibly be the better description, but check out the draw force curve Rob kindly posted up on the "A look at FLATLINE" thread. It's more difficult to draw over the earlier part of the cycle and then eases up. I can really feel the difference in the draw. I suppose, ...
