Re: toy guns
Funny isn't it......I thought "we" beat the Fascists/Nazis in ww2??? Little wonder they(politicians) want to disarm every one except their special police force which now gets around in black jump suits with little black peak caps looking like Hitler's SD. So glad to see whats happen in Egy...

Re: Hunting under threat
Yes, For the right to hunt I tend to agree with adding our numbers to the ssaa, they have much greater political clout. As for the right to own a bow without a license, I think mainstream archery groups are the way to go. These groups like RSPCA used to have a real respectable outlook towards sporti...

Re: fish recipe
We discovered corn flake crumbs next to the bread crumb mixes at the supermarket and find it great on flathead fillets :) I mix red curry paste into the flour using a sieve to get it all fine enough, then roll the fish in the flour, then egg then corn flakes and we just don't have left overs :D Ano...

Re: fish recipe
I agree- flour, well it tastes "floury" I will certainly try polenta in my next fry up! Maybe do some corn fritters with them- I pull my trag jew out of the freezer today. My favorite way to cook red throat emperor fillets these days is pure and simple- I dust off the fillets in potato sta...

Thanks Damo', the image didn't work but i'll assume your having a go at me  It was a horned rabbit mate! Don't corner them they bite hard! Bit like cornered Rangas! The breakdown bow would be a necessity for the bike bassed bowhunter, I guess. So your more of a slackpacker, then a glamper, ste...

Re: 2011 Australia day weekend - LB100 Classic - cancelled :-(
I am sorry to inform you all that the Australia Day shoot at lilydale has been cancelled due to the condition of the course. Due to significant rain, the grounds have become overgrown and the trees unstable. We have had some concerns with the number of trees that have fallen and we had hoped to hav...

Fresh meat can be tough
Fresh meat can be tough having not been hung. Hang it in a curry and it will soften up. Here's my goat curry recipe, but any meat is good and chicken thighs are probably my favorite! my red curry is farang merger between penang and Thai red curry. Using a brand of red curry paste called Mae Ploy- go...
