I have a pile of dead stuff in the front yard for cooking outside with :)
If I can be of any assistance let me know, I know gidgee is a beautifully dark heart wood.

I got a 24# recurve for my 7 yo off John and it is a beaut!

All the best with the 10 yo. My 7yo loves shooting balloons filled with water and food colouring, for some reason red is his favourite :surprised:

Very nice pics there, have been trying to get close to some raptors down my way with mixed success. The shot of the WBSE is especially nice to me, I used to surf under these guys watchful eyes. We actually had one here a few years back on the river system here and its a fair way inland. Again beaut ...

Where to now?

Last year around November, i had this idea of getting a bow for my eldest boy who was turning 6. I bought a bow off a respected australian archery retailer. It is a Martin plastic recurve. I did all of this before discovering Ozbow and as we live remote did not know too much at the time. Since then ...

I use a dehydrator, even though I live in a more dryer area than most :) I maranade the meat, usually kangaroo, over night and then leave it in the dehydrator the next day and package it and then freeze it into appropriately sized packages. If I don't hide it the three kiddies find it and then well ...
