To my thinking using a full length reverse taper is just like using a parallel, in place of the taper.Cant see the logic. Great work! Must admit I really like ringed gidgee as well, but am a bit wary of using larger amounts in , say a riser as been told all the rings are actually flaws in the wood. Right or wrong I don't know, but apparently USA Bowyer a while back had a bow come apart .
