You do use a little bit :smile: but I find by waxing each bundle it helps when you start twisting as the fibers stick to each other and you have better grip when twisting when making the string up
Just a helpful tip that was given to me when I started making my own strings up.

I just use plain old Bees Wax for all my bowstrings :smile:
When Im making strings up I will give each bundle a good waxing before twisting together

I used to get mine from Wildwood Traditional Archery but they have now closed business they were here in Aust I get all my horn products for doing arrows from The Longbow Shop. They are in England but very prompt,I put an order in on the 4th of Feb and got package this morning 12th Cant complain. :s...

I follow that same principal as Jeff

I have " KISS " printed on a piece of A4 paper above my work bench.
Just to remind me of not getting complicated in doing things :biggrin: :biggrin:
Just keeping it simple is sometimes the best option and this I find often works the best. :wink:
