i think with practicing for the speed rounds like you both said nocking fast would nearly be the most important thing. the way i practice was at first all my arras in the ground then get them off as fast as i can from there.. then practicing form the quiver.. thats where the indexers on the nock are...

just made it back home, and i must agree with all thats said so far, an absolute ripper of a shoot. :D It was my first trad shoot, well my first shoot in total and everyone there made me feel more then welcome and took all my stupid questions with a smile. great people, great fun, great place to be....

hey all, i recently bought a longbow, when i got it , it didnt have a string with it. So im in need of a couple of strings for a 35lb long bow, 66# (nock to nock)..if anybody can help me out just get in contact with me and we'll arrange something.

Good news lads.. my lost bow has been found and recovered!!!!! which is the best possible outcome. The only down side is that there was no string with it (though im not sure if one was sent). However a couple of strings is much eaiser to aquire the a lost bow. so i am extremely happy thanks for all ...
