Re: 125/150gr heads
You will get more "reliable" penetration with a heavier Arrow but you will make meat with that set up assuming everything is set up correctly. I would test your Arrows with Broadheads before Hunting though as a Broadhead of the same weight may fly to a different point of impact than a Fie...

Re: longbow goat
Hi mate yes you must be pulling around the 40# mark if 1916's work well for you especially with 210gr head up front! What sort of distance was he shot at? Why i am so keen to know these things is that i am limited to shotting up to a max of 50#; most of my shooting is done at 45# some at 40# and i ...

Re: longbow goat
It looks like it will be very tasty. It's just the right size. Well done. What sort of shafts are you using there? Have you ever managed to cut yourself on your exposed broadheads? I've got one of those Kwikee quivers too, but I haven't used it since the day I managed to slice myself. the bow Mick ...

I am pretty sure I know that bow, was made for Phill Stubbington? It'll kill a pig with an arrow in the right spot... I'd just get my b'heads nice and sharp and put them on a 500gn arrow and go pig hunting . Shot placement will trump the other stuff if the b'head is sharp is he on another forum by ...
