Re: Had enough of Gillard and the rest?
Hazard is right though in that it doesn;t matter who you are going to vote for, voting with a single number below the line is a cop out and is how a lunatic like fielding got the balance of power with just under 2% (yes two) of Victorians voting for him. Make the effort and vote properly. Other than...

Re: TBGA ???
Why do it? Mainly because they are going to make a fortune out of it. This is a professional mob doing it to gather information to sell. Passwords, bank account details etc etc. How many times have you sent your bank account and/or address details to someone from this website (or another one) in a P...

Atrociously innappropriate backup procedures. First rule of backup is have one copy off site. ie. not in the same place as everything else. All their backups appear to have been on the same servers as the sites themselves. Must be heartbreaking for the people who've administered TBGA, Archery-Forum ...

Great couple of days! & a huge thanks to Trace & Tom for their hospitality. Most appreciated. Only one photo really (I've cropped out the wheelie bow :)) & nowhere near as good as that one of the tree in mist! It was a brilliant sight and Tom has captured it perfectly. http://i94.photobu...

spit roasted kid goat
Took this little lady last weekend and have been looking forward to cooking it up all week. Woke up this morning and it's sleeting, blowing a gale, cold and generally miserable. Just the weather for a BBQ! Goat was rubbed with a mixture of olive oil and lots of finely chopped garlic, fresh rosemary,...

There's definitely pigs about. Seen a couple and heaps of sign but no luck - yet.
Supposedly Tom has seen a deer there but not recently.

Re: All sorts of camping/ field gear - Crossfire gear
Major price reductions on most things. One of the Peacekeeper jackets is now the main jacket I use since the colder weather started. I live in the Monaro region (between Cooma/ Canberra). I still haven;t needed to put the liner back in and it's warm, windproof and waterproof. Also used it to chase g...

I wear the 'billycart' name as a badge of honour
Although if you're prepared to have a go with the compound next time I might bring out the 'Windwalker' 50lb longbow for a run.
That will certainly guarantee the goats safety anyway!
'nettles'
Was that a nickname?

Good stuff Chris
1 last outing down here before a long roadtrip for you!
JT, good point! If they started using round wheels rather than those 5 pointed star shaped ones they should work a lot better!
