Border Bows

Clinglish, Border Bows are made here in Scotland and have a good reputation as fast, well made bows, however, it wasn't always so, there was a time when there seemed to be a limb delamination problem, a good mate of mine bought one and when it delaminated, just past it's guarentee, they refused to c...

Gundy,
Have you read the Book, "Liver Eatin Johnson/Crow killer", it's the book that the film is based on, first seen the film in 73, awsome, still watch it at least a couple of times a year, I've got copies in Beta, VHS and DVD.
Yes, you could say it's one of my favourites, HAHA.

Native American Knife

Bought a Plains Quiver from "Barb" from Tradgang, I'm completely overwhelmed by both the workmanship, oops, "workwomanship", HAHA, and the primitive native knife and sheath she "threw in".
Thought I'd share it with my Aussie cousins.

Erron, Thanks mate, yeah, the arm's comming along slow but sure, was out with the 55# yesterday, no pain at all, but I'll give the 70#s a rest for a while. Appreciate everything you say regarding high poundage, Glen has told me the exact same, but it would be nice to be able to shoot them, just in c...

Ambidextrous

Hi, Was intreagued by a post on TradGang regarding a "Righty" shooting "Lefty", so I bought a Samick Left Handed Recurve, 40# @ 28" off Ebay, I was pleasantly surprised at both the condition and finish. The main reason was to see if I could learn to shoot "Lefty" a...

This idea sounds good to me, but I realise the problems, especially the traveling distance, me I'm only on the other side of the Globe, but hey, nothing's impossible, what I've got in mind is killing three birds with one stone, a family visit to Queensland, hopefully some bowhunting and last but not...

Lindsay,
I bought a set a few years ago, very good for getting the correct angles on a knife but rather time consuming, haven't used it for donkey's, much prefer a good stone, but it's always there if I need to get those angles again. If the price is right??
