Just wondering if there is anyone out there, who has access to a property, and that I could come hunting with. (Around the Orange area would be great, willing to travel quit far though)
I am really keen to do a bit of bowhunting, but have no access to anywhere to hunt.

Just wondering who use's what (besides wood) ,carbon or aluminium, and what brand?
Thinking about changing to aluminium (xx75 gamegetters ?) or maybe trying the Goldtip range.

one shot from a bit over 20 yards .....I'm just angry I missed all the larger rabbits this afternoon and only ended up gettin this little fella.

Went out for a walk with my recurve after school and flung arrows all afternoon at rabbits...didn't hit one.
I decided to head back up to the house and do some practise on the broadhead target...and came across this little guy chewing up the garden.
Nothing to be proud of really.

How thick are the limbs at the base??

Thanks Wolfgang...bow is still going good..I ended up taking the pieces of red wood off at the ends and making the groves deeper.

Haven't heard of the second bow before...I think it would be better going with the first bow you mentioned out of the two so far. Another option is to ask around for a second hand bow.

If I have an over spine set of arrows I always have used heaier tips, it has worked for me but even I don't know if I have been doin the right thing.
