Re: new limbs on a broken one piece recurve

The intention was to completely remove the limbs from riser then install new limbs entirely.

new limbs on a broken one piece recurve

I have a one piece recurve similar to a martin mamba that has a top limb delamination failure. The fades are intact.
Just wondering if anyone here could remove the limbs and rebuild it? The bow was my old man's and has some sentimental value so it would be good to get it working again.

FS- Thunderhorn bolt on bow quiver

I have a 6 arrow Thunderhorn bolt on quiver for sale. it has a custom made gripper setup with 4 arrows in front of 2 arrows much like the old kwikee quiver arrangement. the hood is set back to suit the gripper offset. Includes 2 spare brackets which I made. this allows you to have 2 bows setup, each...

they must also abide by local game laws.

can you imagine it here in Australia. starvation surrounded by 1000's of edible native animals. Anything goes in real survival.

Re: TAA Proposed Equipment Guidelines 2020

I get tired of this old argument; time and time again we explain the reason for some shoots only allowing wood arrows is not for the reason that they are traditional and others aren't; the reason was/is to try and get people making wood arrows to ensure the craft of making a matched set of wood arr...

Re: TAA Proposed Equipment Guidelines 2020

I concur with Clingish and Rhino1.
I have a Border Black Douglas recurve. Is there a 'recurve bows with more recurved limbs than normal recurve bows' division?

I might actually win and get wooden spoon in the same event.

Ah ha, I knew it. They're not recommended because they're not traditional enough. Here I was thinking there might be a valid reason why they're not recommended.

I was not going to comment again, but cant help it. A club and its members who volunteer their hard work and time, make the rules of a shoot . If you like the rules, then go enjoy yourselves. If you don't like the rules DON'T GO. I attend between 6-8 different Trad shoots a year, where there are be...
