Re: Shield cut or Parabolic for Broadheads

4" low profile banana cut works well with broadhead flight & are quieter than parabolic & sheild cut.
But with all fletching the more helicoil the noisier they will be.

Re: Policy for buying and selling on this forum

It is an unfortunate situation,I sell trad gear through my online archery shop & do come across it every now & again, ask that the bow to be sent back in the packaging it was sent in then you will see if there has been any transit damage. But the reality is unless you can see problems from mis...

I use it all the time it's a great product,I always put a dab of fletchtite on the front of the fletch.
Don't use Super glue as it seems to neutralise the adhesive on the tape

I just brought one that looks like the same riser but with lighter coloured limbs made in 2005 excellent condition for $500au.
It is sad but if you buy a custom you quite often have to come down quite a way to make a sale.
Was sold on for $800nz

Re: Dipping question

Fletching tape is the way to go. If your finding some fletches are sitting a funny angles it is the quill. Glue is fluid so it will set in line with the clamp. I use Bearpaw feathers because the quill's are nicely finished Remember to put a drop of glue on the front of the fletch :twocents-mytwocents:

Re: Hunting arrow questions!!,

Kimall you have made the innuendo that I made my post as an ego boost that is not true & is insulting. It is because of that sort of post a lot of people do not reply to questions even though they know the answer that will help. The question was how to make a 450gn 500spine arrow with which my a...

Re: Hunting arrow questions!!,

At hunting distances they will shoot the same.
You can use a Zwickey Eskilite with a 35gn adaptor = 145gn = 450 same as with the field tip.
Bit light for a hunting shaft but you can always dowel it to add another 160gn"s
