Re: Had enough of Gillard and the rest?
One for the religious environmentalists.
For the record I'm agnostic on the subject, my jury is still out.
Had this sent to me, I found it funny.
The environmental extremists may find it sacrilegious though.

Don't ban em, where else would I post my mail. If you want to ban something, lets just get rid of the biggest most stupid thing ever invented by man........religion. As for banning them...I become very very uncomfortable when a Government starts telling people what they can and can't wear ... Identi...

Thanks to all who attended. We will endeavour to post the scores asap. Alas my longbow will be put back in the cupboard to concentrate on my wheel bow for the next few months with State titles and club champ rounds due shortly. Thanks a gain to the Trad community who continue to show us how much fun...

Its called crippling the opponents Robert. the only way us poor shooters have a chance of getting scores close to the robin hoods is to taint them a little the night b4. Re: 3D Trad Event Lilydale Bowmen
I don't know how many of you have noticed but this is to be a 2 arrow event. The score zones are the same as our 3D challenge/LB100 which is 10, 8, and 5, no horns or hooves. The twist is we normally shoot 1 arrow, for the Trad event it will be up to two allowed, however...... It will be your last a...

Re: loose nocks
Dental floss is annoying for me. Another way to fix the problem is to heat your nocks in hot water, as long as they're plastic, and squeeze the throat together till it's a good fit. I have seen this debated before. You must be good, as I would think that its unlikely that every nock would be consis...

Re: 3D Trad Event Lilydale Bowmen
There are going to be some divisions.
Others can be more precise but I think its something like, longbow, recurve and primative?
Is the last one a reference to the equipment or the archer, I'm not sure? lol.
See you there, with my woods Tony!
Ciao
Duane.

Lots of shots amongst and through the flora (hopefully not the fauna, just the foam kind) so even the locals will be lost and challenged.

You boys shot extremely well, no doubt about it. The top compound shooters did score around the 760/770 mark, the halfway crowd, thats modern gear with fingers were outperformed by the Trad gang for sure! Perhaps they should take the wheels off! For those who want a bit more 3D, Lilydale will be hav...

That is why it is frowned upon, nothing to do with your stopping distance, but the lack of control with a locked wheel. Thanks Dewi. I shouldn't argue with an experienced racer but I will say I would rather skid to a stop, even on my back, in front of a wall/vehicle/tree four metres away - than hav...

Re: Whats your ride/here is mine
Don't want to pinch the thread but following on from safety, a remark about the latest L testing I had to do, they nearly failed me for an emergency stop at 35 kph in which I (deliberately) skidded the bike to a stop in less than 3 metres. The comment was that although I didn't go over any line lim...

June, we might even get another "snow" shoot. Dress warm. Clarkey (Rinehart Targets) will be involved in the course layouts for our 3D challenge and our 3D Trad "challenge?", so I suspect them both to live up to the "challenge". (is that enough challeges in one sentance...

Re: 3d night shoot-light control box-what features?
Having been involved in a few night 3D shoots, you always have someone who drops there arrow or has trouble nocking even after they have had plenty of time. I personally would prefer to have each round started by an activation button rather than a pause, I guess you could pause on and off, but user ...
