Re: The Beginning of the End ??

Just to let you all know that there will be a meeting in January where all the main organisations in Australia, ABA, 3DAAA and AA, will be getting together to get organised and fight this on one large front. This is to ensure that everyone will be working together for the common goal, which is to sa...

Bowhunting Letters for WA

To all bow hunters and archers. You may have read in the newspapers of new laws being brought into force in Western Australia that add another layer of regulation to bow ownership. These laws have the support of such groups as the RSPCA. That organisation is on the record as saying that they hope t...

Re: Mag Articles and Photos- Bowhunter Australia

Thanks John for your insight. I have given a magazine to every sinlge writer and supporter of the magazine already and did it the first week I got my hands on it. The same will happen this time around and I am also gathering, bit by bit, a few things here and there from advertisers that I will doing...

Re: Mag Articles and Photos- Bowhunter Australia

From the start I have had every intention to pay the writers and I still do. The mag needs to turn a profit though for this to happen and hopefully after building up a reputation, sales and advertising will go up and there will be money there to pay people back for their efforts. With the first mag,...

Re: Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

Finally the night came down to the inductees. Before the awards were given, a video tribute to Bill Baker was shown that was made by Denny Sturgess of the states. The tribute raised a deserved round of applause from the crowd. Both Bill and George Scott were inducted last year and both families had ...

Re: Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

Nick Lintern then handed the archery crafters award. 6 were given to the best makers of archery products in Oz. He also gave a fine speech on buying Australian archery products and supporting the industry here. I was not one to argue with the man. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f8/antarcher/IMGP2...

Hall of Fame Induction Banquet

This is what I posted on TBGA and I thought you guys would like to see it on here: On Saturday night, the first annual Australian Archery Hall of Fame banquet and awards night was held and I must say first up, that it was an amazing evening. Upon arrival, I just could not believe that Australian arc...

Re: Bowhunter Australia Magazine News

Thanks Paul and Mick for helping clear things up. Unfortunately in the last mag, it went to the printers at the end of May and it did not end up in the shops until the start of August, due to all the things that went into starting the mag up. As a result, there really was too short a space for someo...

Have had some great developments for the magazine of late. First of all, the second run of distribution will commence next Wednesday and though I am not sure of the exact locations as yet, the mag will be going to most of the places where it sold out the first time around. So if you missed it the fi...

Re: Bowhunter - Australia (New Annual Bow Magazine)

Hello everybody and thank you very much for the feedback on the magazine. I am sorry that I have never posted on here before, but I had never joined as I do not have a trad bow and would have found it a little hypocritical, though I do plan to start using trad gear in the near future. I have always ...
