Re: Old Camp Ovens

Hello stick bow hunter

They turned out great.
Have you ever tried using vinegar to remove rust.
I am soaking some old vintage car parts in some at the moment. It's my first try at it.
So far it's working ok.

Re: string hits nose.

Hmm, I've got a decent size nose and have never hit my nose. When I anchor I place my index finger in the corner of my mouth and line the string up with my eye. I can feel the string touching my nose but it doesn't hurt it or cause any discomfort. I would suggest to move your face a a bit. Doesn't h...

Howard Hill made archery look so easy.
I wonder how many out takes there was for the apple shot. Would be a messy blooper that's for sure.
Great video

Sorry not the living dead, I mean the walking dead,

There is a game available based on the series but I have been told that it is not worth playing.

Re: Bow fishing Carp Illegal???

It's a joke. I rang the fisheries a few years ago and was told it is not allowed any were except at the the end of some beaches. Same rules as spear fishing. I couldnt get any sense out of the guy when it comes to changing the rules. Carp are a pest, they are introduced to our rivers and dams and if...

Re: Has anyone tried these Broadheads

I was interested in them for two reasons
1- the blue would match my fletching and wraps
2- the price is very cheap
I would say that they are the ones that are dodgy

Has anyone tried these Broadheads

Hello all
Has anyone tried after shock beast 3 blade Broad heads. They are the blue black and silver ones on ebay and if so what is your opinion.
I would be using them on foxes, rabbits, goats and pigs and if I was lucky enough to get close, deer
Thanks Mark

Re: Wanted Left hand bow

Hi Kevin
That is a nice of you to offer. Smart as well. I will ask my friend if he is still interested in giving it a go. Much better to try out the sport before he outlays money on something he may not enjoy.

I will let you know as soon as I have a chance to talk to him.

Thanks again Mark

Looks like a top place to go. It's amazing to see someone at his age still hunting. Goes to show that a hunters life style is obviously good for you.
Love the cabin.

Hi Steve Great stuff. Itching to get out with you. I think my triumph would be more comfortable with a sheep skin seat cover. I've nearly got all the gear ready. Must have been awesome looking over the speedo with a straight road stretching for miles ahead of you. We're you able to have a camp fire ...

Re: Carp, Carp, Carp. One of the best eating fish!!!! Trust

What can do is get a large pot and chop up some carrots, potatoes, onion, celery ect. Ad the carp peper, salt and half a house brick. Then ad water to just cover the lot. Cook for 1 hour or so then throw away the carp and eat the brick.
