Re: Wanting info on selfbow boywers in australia
Hi, I was going to suggest Nick Lintern (Norseman) but looks like you already have, has he got back to you yet? I know he is away at the moment.

That's a shame about the gathering, it is a heap of fun but not so good when you have to try to pull an arrow out of a 3D target that has been put there by a 100lb + warbow!

Will you be coming down to the Hunter Valley for the Gathering in June? There will be plenty of similar sized bows around, the more the merrier!

To be fair, it was announced over the loudspeaker several times on Sunday that the deadline was at 2pm, there was even a 15 min warning. It was all gone over at the Muster on Saturday morning. At the end of the day there has got to be a cut off time to be fair to everyone. I hope you enjoyed the sho...

Beautiful looking bow!
I have a soft spot for Yew bows, I have one that Nick Lintern made for me from a stave brought over from the states, but I have not shot it at all this year, too much to do at work and lower back problems have stuffed up my shooting time.

I would recommend Dave at Medicine bow woods, we got some Pacific Yew staves from him, they were all debarked (must be done for customs) and well wrapped.

Re: Advice on a little bow for the better half
I agree about the left handed bow, I shoot left handed as I am left eye dominant but I am right handed, it's always more important to pick according to the eye rather than the hand.
It feels so wrong picking up a bow right handed now!

It was a great weekend, the new format was so much more relaxed, it left plenty of time for everyone to catch up.
Will the scores be going on here?
