the bream,spend alot of time trying to catch these hard hitting nice eating fish,this particular day i went through a packet of prawns in 30min and only managed this fish out of all the bites that where mostly trevally and salmon

the black wood come from my grandfathers barn the barn was over 100years old so who knows how old the wood itself is it even comes with its very own grub marks......hahaha

yeah thanx guys it was a canadian rock maple stave used to make boats years ago ive made a few bows now about 2 a day so far some backed with boo and some with fiberglass the lowest pound so far is 44#26 the highest broke haha thanx

had a go at making an english warbow to day it was 105# :shock: at 20 inches. i added another 5 pounds :? and it snapped one limb into about 6 pieces :( i looked at the area and found a knot so that is a damm shame as it was a very nice looking bow at 6feet long it would of took some holding.....ill...

thanx to some help from people here i finally managed to get a working bow. not the greatest looking bow but it works nicely 44# @ 20inches thats all ive pulled it back so far im waiting on a decent string its made from canadian rock maple so heres hoping that when i fire it in i can get it back to ...
